GLO BRIDGE

Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 2010 

This pedestrian bridge links two buildings in downtown LA. The design evokes the passion and branding of “Glo,” conveying Illumination through simple metal lines and fused glass rounds which reflect the project theme colors. My task was to lighten and embellish this very “sturdy” bridge with a signature while working with the engineers to cantilever as much as possible the stainless steel off the structure.
